Every business has to start with a purpose.  Every website needs a purpose.  Without a purpose we flounder around in the dark with no where to go and no map to get there.  For some reason that line reminds me of Jerry Reed’s song from Smokey and the Bandit – East Bound and Down.  Little rant there.

Did that fist paragraph make you think of anything?  Did it give you an impression of some kind?  It was spur of the moment – I didn’t plan it – it was a distraction.  Without a purpose, without a plan – we are easily distracted and we can quickly fail if don’t get back on track.  No where to go and no map to get there.

So what is the purpose of GotANiche.com?  My purpose is to help you find your niche, create your niche, work your niche. Over many months I have been evaluating numerous products out there and I want to share with you what I have found and continue to find regularly.  This site is all about helping you in your niche.  It will be through various outside links and resources.  I will have a spattering of original works but mostly this site will be reviews of the products that are out there and how they can help you.

In order to accomplish this of course I need to fund the project.  That is another purpose of the site  – to fund itself and to support one of my favorite missions.   Monadnock Bridge Builders has a great program for child sponsorship, orphan sponsorship, and medical and work teams to Haiti.  I have been working and volunteering at Monadnock Bible Conference since 1985 and I have always had a heart for their ministry to the children and adults from around the world.  Monadnock Bridge Builders is one of their off site outreach programs.

I hope to be able to put together a roadmap of what to do and where to find the help.   So come along for the ride and be sure to let me know what you want to hear about.  I will evaluate and tell it like it is.  And as most sites out there these days – mine will be full of affiliate links.  I may make money on many of the links you go to – if you choose to purchase.    So that’s the friendly disclaimer.  If you want the nit-picky one you can find it here.  Of course you can always donate to the project here.  Your payment will be to Echo Web Services – our parent company.
